Stop Press!! 01 June 2008
Congratulations to Tom Gill and
Bethany Fairbairn who have won the club stage of the Road to
Wimbledon competition. They will now be invited to the Stage Two
County Final at the Bucks Indoor Tennis Centre on the weekend of
the 21/22 June. We wish them well.
Junior
Club League Division 1
These matches were completed last weekend. The results
are now being collated and I will put more detail into the next
newsletter.

Junior 2-player league
We have entered seven teams in various age groups into this
competition. There has been a great deal of interest from all clubs in
the county and most of our teams have six or seven games within their
respective leagues. For many of our players this will be their first
experience of playing games at different clubs and we hope they enjoy
it.
Junior Club Championship
If you have not seen the draw, it is up in the club house. It is
important that the matches are played in good time but if there are
problems then do let me know. Most can be sorted out.
Mini
Tennis
This
year we would like to invite the Mini Green, Orange and Red players
along to our Wednesday club night - a fun session for the players led
by a coach. This special membership, costing £15, runs from April
to July. Please note that a full junior membership fee is required to
play any matches for BLTC. |

 Help wanted
The Monday and Wednesday sessions are very enjoyable. I would like to have
a couple of barbeques but can
only do so with help. The children would love to have
one so please do give me a call.

Courts are available for members to book at other times
(there is a booking form up in the Beaconsfield
School of Lawn Tennis office)

League matches have priority on Saturdays and Sundays

Juniors have priority on the courts on Tuesdays and
Thursdays from 4 - 6pm

Courts will be available for Club Championship matches two
weeks prior to Finals Day - see notice in the
Clubhouse for special booking arrangements.
